Our loans are primarily used to meet any unexpected expense that the consumer cannot afford to take care of in the immediate term. Before you apply, you should know that:
Our Loans provide you with additional money in unforeseen circumstances or if you wish to purchase emergency items.
The contract term is 1 year. Our customers usually settle their loans on average in 7 to 30 days.
As a new customer, you can request up to K2000. Once you have created a solid history with us, you can request up to K10,000.
Our loans are designed to get you out of trouble and should not be used if you have a high level of debt.
Be a holder of a Zambian National Registration Card (NRC)
Be in full employment with an active bank account
Have a registered mobile phone number
Present proof of current residential address
How to apply for my loan
Complete an application online.
Visit a branch nearest to your location and consult a Client Relationship Officer who will help you complete your loan application.
Call any of our agents by dialling 3334 from any network.
How much can I borrow?
- Use the bar to determine the amount you want to borrow.
Choose your preferred payment frequency. Our default payment schedule is monthly.
Choose your salary pay date.
Upon completion, you will be able to see the payment amount, interest, cost of borrowing (APR) and your next repayment day.
How is the amount payable calculated?
As a first time customer, if you borrow K2,000, you will pay back exactly K2,000 on your next pay day. No interest or commissions will be charged on the principal.
On your next loan, the commission and interest charged will depend on the amount and duration of the loan. Our commission and interest rates are variable and depend on the duration of the preferred loan repayment
Based on the information you provided, we may give you one of two answers to your loan application:
- If your loan is pre-approved it means you have successfully completed the first step towards getting your loan and we deem you are creditworthy.
- The next step will be to go to your nearest branch with all required documentation to complete your loan application process.
If your loan application is declined, it unfortunately means we are unable to offer you a loan.
How you receive funds?
If your loan application is approved, you have several options to receive the money:
The money can be credited into your registered bank account;
or you can simply go to our branch and withdraw the cash. In this case, you will be required to present your ID.
How to repay the loan?
The Loan is to be repaid on your next payday. This can be done through the following:
Direct Debit from your registered bank account
Cash repayment of the loan amount at our branch.
Go to your nearest FNB or ZANACO branch and make a cash deposit into our bank account. If you use this option, please remember to carry the reference number that appears on your statement/invoice bill.
What if I am unable to pay?
In the event that you can not pay off the entire loan on your next payday, you can still continue to enjoy the benefits of your loan. In this case, you may wish to extend the loan at an additional fee.
